Miranda Forsyth worked as a public prosecutor in Vanuatu 2001-2002. From 2003-2009 she taught in the law school at the University of the South Pacific, based in Port Vila, Vanuatu. Miranda is also the author of a book that details the relationship between customary dispute resolution and the state criminal justice system in Vanuatu, as well as many other scholarly articles on legal issues in Vanuatu and the Pacific Islands region more generally, as detailed in her CV.
