Dr Jelke Boesten is Professor of Gender and Development at King’s College London. She has extensive experience in Peru and has published widely on gender violence in conflict and peacetime Peru. Dr Crabtree is a freelance consultant editor, writer, broadcaster and teacher on Latin American politics, economics and international relations. He is also a research associate at the Latin American Centre, Oxford University and Senior Member of Saint Antony’s College. He holds an MA in Modern History from the University of Oxford, a B. Phil in Latin American Studies from the University of Liverpool and a PhD from Oxford Brookes University. He has written vastly on Bolivia and Peru and his expertise as a COI expert regards the overall political conditions in Peru.
Dr Paulo Drinot

Dr Drinot is a Senior Lecturer in Latin American History at the Institute of the Americas of University College London. He has taught at the Universities of Manchester, Leeds and Oxford. He holds a DPhil (PhD) in Modern History from St Antony’s College of the University of Oxford, an MPhil in Latin American Studies from St Antony’s College of the University of Oxford and a BSc (Economics) Special Subject Economic History from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He is a Historian of Modern Peru and has written extensively on the subject.
Dr Andreas Feldmann

Andreas E. Feldmann is Associate Professor of Political Science and Director of Undergraduate Studies at the Catholic University in Santiago de Chile. His research specializes in International Relations with a focus on political violence and terrorism; population uprooting and human rights, and international cooperation. His most recent work has appeared in Latin American Politics and Society, Terrorism and Political Violence, Beyond Law, Revista de Ciencia Política, Journal of Peacebuilding and Development, and Migración y Desarrollo. Dr Feldmann has worked as a consultant for International Development Research Centre (IDRC), the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and served as assistant to the Special Rapporteur on Migrant Workers and Members of their Families of the Inter-American Commission of Human Rights (2000-6). He earned a PhD in Political Science at the University of Notre Dame (2002) and worked as a Post-Doctoral Fellow Researcher/Instructor in the Human Rights Program at the University of Chicago (2003-5).
