MediNetz Hannover gives medical aid to refugees and migrants who don’t have documents and makes appointments with doctors of all disciplines. The treatment is anonymous and as far as possible free of cost. MediNetz Hannover does not give any information to governmental institutions and does not collect personal data.

IBIS e. V. offers an independent asylum advice. The service is free. This includes the provision of information regarding the general legal situation, open-ended and individual case-specific advice regarding your own situation, explanation and translation of notices, notifications and appeals, intervention and mediation in conflict situations, contacting authorities, monitoring and support for the enforcement of existing rights, placement of lawyers, working with translators and advice on questions of health care. IBIS e. V. also offers anti-discrimination counseling, German courses (including child-care), support for children in school, a refugee café on Friday afternoons (14:00 – 18:00) and hosts a variety of events such as panel discussions, informational and educational events, parties.
