PUBLIC ATTITUDES AND/OR STATE’S CAPACITY TO PROTECT
According to the Grenadian Voice, in the criminal code, sodomy is referred to as a ‘crime against nature’ or as a copulation against the ‘order of nature.’ According to a 2003 UNHCR report, ignorance and violence surround homosexuality in Grenada. Rev. Osbert James speaking to the Grenadian Voice said: ‘the court does not criminalise orientation it criminalises the act.’
